Chemical Peels

What They Are: Chemical peels use acids, such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), trichloroacetic acid (TCA), or phenol, to exfoliate the skin. They are used to treat various skin issues, including acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage.

Types of Peels:

Superficial Peels: Mild and target the outermost layer of skin (epidermis).

Medium Peels: Penetrate the middle layers of skin, often used for more significant skin concerns.

Deep Peels: Penetrate deeper into the skin and are used for more severe conditions but come with a longer recovery time and higher risk of complications.
