Mole

Moles themselves are usually harmless skin growths caused by clusters of pigmented cells, and they don't directly cause infections. However, there are situations where a mole might become problematic, particularly if it gets injured, becomes infected, or is linked to a disease.

1. Infection of a Mole

Causes: A mole can become infected if it's scratched, cut, or irritated. This can happen through regular activities like shaving, accidental scraping, or picking at the mole.

Symptoms: Signs of infection include redness, swelling, pain, warmth, and possibly pus or discharge from the mole. The area around the mole might also become tender.
