Warts Infection
Warts are skin growths caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). While warts themselves are not serious, they can sometimes lead to complications, including infections.
1. Infection of Warts
Secondary Infections: Warts can become infected if they are picked at, scratched, or if the skin around them is broken. This can lead to bacterial infections.
Symptoms of Infection: Signs of an infected wart include increased redness, warmth, swelling, pain, and pus or discharge from the wart.
